Pohorje hill is a popular destination for winter sports activities. Mariborsko Pohorje, together with Areh, is considered to be the largest winter center in Slovenia, covering approximately 42 kilometers of various ski trails and pistes with 17 operating cable cars and ski lifts. It offers a wide variety of pistes for beginners and advanced skiers, and has established itself as a popular family ski resort. In winter, Mariborsko Pohorje offers more than seven kilometers of illuminated ski trails for night skiing. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Pohorje also offers a lot of other different winter activities.
